Are you double vaccinated against COVID-19?

Yes, I have received both vaccinations for COVID-19.  

 

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

​

I am Brisbane based but I have no hard or fast rules when it comes to the distance I'll travel! I've travelled to southern NSW and far North Queensland. Shoot me an email and we can go from there. 

 

What speakers do you use?

​

I currently use 2 x Electro-Voice EVOLVE 30M Portable Powered Column System speakers. 

 

Do you have lighting for the dance floor?

​

I sure do and it's all included! I use a GigBAR Flex lighting system that flashes different colours, strobes, shoots UV and changes to the music. 

 

Are you able to learn new songs for our special wedding moments like our ceremony and first dance?

​

Yes, I'm more than happy to download or learn your special songs (maximum two) providing I am given six weeks notice.

If you are just wanting them played on an iPod (not live), later notice is fine.

What if we change our mind about one of our special songs in the days leading up to the wedding?

​

Hey, it happens! If I don't already know the new request, I will download it and have it ready on my iPod.

What happens when you're on break? Is it just silence?

​

Everybody hates awkward silence. When I'm not playing live, there will be background music playing over my speakers.

Do you have a microphone we can use for speeches?

​

You are more than welcome to use my microphone. Just note that my microphone is wired which means the speaker will have to be where I am.

Can we choose the songs you play for your live sets?

​

My full song list is available here. Feel free to highlight some songs you definitely want to hear on your day. If there are certain songs that you don't want to hear and they are on my song list, let me know.

What do you mean when you say you "DJ"?

​

The "DJ" word is thrown around a lot. In the context of weddings, for me, DJing is all about playing music so that you and your guests have a good time. Using my sound and lighting system, the party atmosphere really comes to life. I do basic mixing techniques to ensure a smooth transition between one great song to the next.

Instead of DJing, can you just put on a playlist that we have put together?

​

That is not a problem at all! Some couples have a unique music selection and just want to hear their music all night.
